Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must possess the minimum qualification specified for the respective trade

  • All qualifications must be from recognized institutions

  • Candidates awaiting mark sheets or certificates are not eligible

  • Uploading all mark sheets and certificates is mandatory


Age Limit (as on 28 February 2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 25 years

Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD and other eligible categories will be applicable as per Government of India norms.


Stipend Details

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 / 1973 and Apprentices Rules (as amended from time to time).

Selection Process

  • Selection will be based on merit, calculated from the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination

  • No written examination or interview will be conducted

  • Original documents will be verified at the time of joining

  1. Land Displaced Candidates

  2. Local candidates (within 5 km radius) of UCIL project areas

  3. Wards of UCIL Employees
